Mr Bill's Testimony
Mister Bill loves music and has written many songs. He has
loved music for a long time but didn't start writing songs
until he was 12 years old. When he was 13 years old, his
mother passed away and he was very sad. Each day, when he
would come home from school, all he wanted to do was to go
straight to his room to play his guitar. Playing guitar and
singing helped him feel better. During that time, be became a
much better musician. He also prayed alot, even though he
didn't really know God in a personal way.
As he grew older, he played in rock bands and started
performing at weddings, schools, special events and later, in
nightclubs. He did this all the way through college.
When he graduated college, he started working for a bank
and eventually stopped playing music. He also stopped praying
to God. Many things happened to him at that time that were not
good. He became very selfish and only cared about himself and
making money. He started his own business and became very
successful (at least he thought he was).
One day, however, his world started to fall apart and he
realized he was very unhappy. It was at that time that he
realized he needed God in his life. By the grace of God,
Mister Bill's brother, Tom, is a Christian and he was praying
very hard for Mister Bill. And because of Tom and many other
people's prayers, God made sure Mister Bill met people that
told him about Jesus and how Jesus died on the cross so that
all of us could be happy forever with Him.
Mister Bill finally said a very special prayer to Jesus and
became a Christian. Today, Mister Bill loves Jesus more than
anything. And he is a musician because this is the best way he
can show his love for his Lord. He has written many many songs
in his life but the songs he loves best are the ones about
Jesus. Mister Bill's World is a place where God is the center
of everything.
If you don't know about Jesus,

Mr. Bill's Statement of Faith
- I believe in
the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments as verbally
inspired by God, and inerrant in the original writings,
and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith
and life.
- I believe in
one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son
and Holy Spirit.
- I believe that
Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, and born of
the virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man.
- I believe that
man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and
thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also
spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that
all human beings are born with a sinful nature and, in the
case of those who reach moral responsibility, are sinners
in thought, word and deed.
- I believe that
the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins according to the
Scriptures, as the only representative and substitutionary
sacrifice; and that all who have a born-again experience
in Him, are justified on the basis of His shed blood.
- I believe in
the bodily resurrection of the crucified Lord, in His
Ascension into Heaven, and in His presence there for me as
High Priest and Advocate.
- I believe in
"that blessed hope," the personal, premillennial,
and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
- I believe that
all who receive, by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ are born
again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of
God.
- I believe in
the bodily resurrection of all believers to an everlasting
presence with God, and of all unbelievers to an
everlasting condemnation in Hell.
- I believe the
Scriptural ordinances to be Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Baptism is the immersion in water of a believer in Christ,
"in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit," and symbolizes the fact of regeneration. The
Lord's Supper is a commemoration of His broken body and
shed blood for the remission of sin and symbolizes the
fact that the believer is continuously fed and nourished
by Christ.
