The Secret of the Golden Egg
Why does Mister Bill choose a
golden egg as his logo?
Well, you've heard the story about Jack and the Beanstalk
and how a boy named Jack got a hold of some special seeds that
grew into a giant bean stalk. Well, as you know, he then
climbed and climbed and climbed up the bean stalk until he
reached a humongous house where a giant lived. At the giant's
house he found a goose that laid golden eggs. The kid tries to
steal the goose and barely escapes with his life. Well, that
story has nothing to do with why Mister Bill uses a golden egg
as part of his logo but I thought it would make for
interesting reading anyway...
The reason Mister Bill uses a golden egg is simple. An egg
symbolizes new life. Gold is valuable. Therefore, new life, as
only Jesus Christ can provide, is valuable. The most precious
life of all is the one we receive when we become a Christian
-- or a new creation in Christ.
Mister Bill's ministry is all about bringing Christ's
precious new life (which is more valuable than gold) to our
precious children.
